No need for concern yet, you will be fine. Once you have sent the PCC they will make a decision very soon.

Standard Background Checks takes about 90-120 days.

More in-dept could go upto a year.

They have asked you for PCC, thats a clue that everything is fine.

My E-case change to Mediacls Results Have been received on August 10 and until now I have not received passport request.

I hope this helps.

I think you will be receiving PPR very soon. London CHC is not as fast as New Delhi so it may take some more days compared to ND but definetly it is +ve sign and you may get the good news any time .....congratulations guys

I receiver my medical documents on Feb 10, 2010. CHC London received my medical results on 5th of March, I send a status enquiry through my consultant I got replay from CHC on 16 April shows : "Please be advised that we are currently awaiting the results of routine background checks that are being conducted on file. We will contact you as soon as we receive these results."
since that time what I am good for is to be patient and counting the days one by one .

I would like thank u for allowing me to share my suffering with you.

Everybody, I got my passport request!! ;D

Going to be sending it by DHL from UAE to London CHC this week. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get it back with the maple leaf as soon as possible without any problems!

Can we send PP through post from one country to other ? i think courier people wont accept PPs to send to other countries. At present i am in india and my visa office is london. If i got PPR how to send it to london for stamping?
