i don't think there's any definite way to interprete their response. however, it seems like they r not far away from issuing a PPR for u, may be a matter of 2/3 weeks at most; but to be honest i don't think there's any definite interpretation of this response.

i wish u get the PPR this month.

Yesterday I sent an email to London CHC and asked them to update my file status.
Today they replied me that "Please note that your file was sent for its final background check on 26/5/2010. I will inform you when these have been completed".
Anybody knows what's that mean?

Hello everyone,
Been out of touch with the forumn for 2 weeks. Was on holiday to India. Congratulations to those who have received PPR and good luck to eveyone else. I will take thursday off and personally go and submit the passports to the Canadian Embassy.Will keep u guys updated on that.

last time i heard from NEOSTIGMINE, he/she got her e-cas changed to 'decision made'. i know his/her passport was sent on 6 May, 2010 & e-cas was showing 'decision made' on 8 May, 2010---so, it seems like the visa has been issued.

i think NEOSTIGMINE will share with us once he/she get the PP back.

i am sure u will get the passport back with maple leaf b4 the nd of this month. and do not worry too much about the e-cas status---i saw many member's status showed 'in process' even after they landed. so, do not worry too much about the e-cas & moreover they have got ur PP, they won't keep it for long, u will get the visa & u will get it this month---the only question is will they update e-cas at the same time they issue ur visa---the chance is 50-50.

Hey Clive,
try and contact the gp surgery to get the DHL no, to track your medical being received or not by the embassy, thats all you can do rt now, hopefully yr meds are clear...this we know coz gp has to contact yu in case anything is wrong , so just wait patiently to receive a email or normal mail for interview or passport request..
