'MEDICALS SENT'-------London CHC------Waiting for Next Stage (probably PPR)

I am so sorry to hear that you sent you medicals in April last year and the London Embassy hasnt gotten back to you.

I had the same experience, I sent my medicals in Feb 2010, waited for the London CHC to get back to me and by Jan 2011, I was still waiting. I was contacted to take my passports for Visa stamping just about three weeks to the expiry of my Medicals (Early Feb).
Obviously with work committments, house tenancy aggreement and other obligation, this was too short a notice for me to take the visas.

I have had to redone the medicals and the police checks and now waiting to be contacted.

My condition is quite same like you. I have applied from Dubai and have been awaiting over 15 months.....

Medical exam doc & Landing fees were sent to London CIC office: Nov 30, 2009.
No update>>>only showing processing at CIC site.
Last year's update from CIC via agency: Application awaits for background review.

Pls share whether you applied by yourself or via agency.

I am as anxious as u after sending medicals to London, coz i know London is slow. so, let's share our timelines here so that we can assume when we can receive PPR or at least some update from London CHC and can relax a bit.

hi all hope doing great. i landed in toronto yesterday. london gatwick to toronto by thomas cook. flight was good... service standard... landed toronto 2.15pm. everything went smooth. no hassal at alll....immigration to custom took only 45 mints... welcome to canada and good luck heard somany times.. all the officer was well behaved... no question about fund just how much i m carrying... custom declaration was very simple.. they signed my b4 n B4a form... checked my jewellery picture... collected my follow on luggage sameday cause cargo terminal is very close to main terminal. its took 1 hour to collect my cargo from cargo village... then reached home.. love the weather.... better then uk... today i have done my sin card.. going for job interview from monday. plz pray for us.. good luck to alll
