Here's a brief overview to my situation:
Me and my wife received our CoPRs and consequently PR visa stamps in our passport back in Dec 2016. Our landing date was May 15th, 2017 (this was our medical expiry date). However since my wife was scheduled to deliver early June 2017, I notified CIC of this situation. CIC gave me the option of having the delivery done in my home country and then they would add the newborn baby to my file and issue us new COPRs if the additional documents I needed to provide them were satisfactory.
Now my baby was born early June and a couple of weeks back I submitted all the required documents CIC asked me to upload on myCIC account. Today they contacted me via myCIC and asked to undergo Medical Examination. They have attached a IMM1017E form which I'm supposed to present at the medical center. However that form mentions only my baby's details.
My question now is that is CIC asking only my baby's medical examination report? Are we (me and my wife) not supposed to undergo new medicals? Since our medicals expired on 15th May 2017, I was under the impression that we would also have to undergo new medicals. However the CIC instructions letter has provided only one IMM1017E form and that of my baby.
So am I correct in interpreting the CIC letter that only my baby has to undergo a medical now?
