"Medicals have been received" in eCAS for parents' sponsorship - meaning?

Hi there,

Does anyone know what appearance of the line "medicals have been received" on eCAS really mean. Does it mean just what it says or it means the medicals are PASSED?

It is for parents' sponsorship application.

Please, if only folks who have true insight and how the immigartion process works respond.

Appreciate your help.

P.S. i ordered GCMS recently, but have to wait for them for a month or so.

All it means is that cic now has access to the medical results. It doesn't mean anything besides that. Doesn't mean they have been passed. A lot of the time, if there is something concerning on the medical results, the doctor's office will contact the patient for more testing.

thank you tink. it is so confusing. i have been reading on this forum that this line shows up on your eCAS only after immigration health services approve or "pass" the medicals. so many different opinions...

when did you apply for your parents? did you pay for Landing and submitted PCC? these are the next steps before it gets finalized. If is IN Process, they have started working on your application, hope this helps.
