It takes 2 weeks technically if there is no detailed security checks required. If the person has traveled internationally and also visa office has backlog for stamping or the visa officer in that visa office has then it might get delayed.

Rocky I think your time line seems to be for New Delhi.
I am not sure if the same time frame applies to places like Buffalo or Singapore.
In Buffalo applicants wait about 2 months after they send the medicals typically.
But I hope I am wrong!!!

If I am correct, I am just waiting until our medical results reviewed and for the request of passport to be sent.
Is CHC going to request for the proof of funds prior to sending the passport? Are there any situation like that? Please share with me..

Hi AUH Process!

I had my interview in Abu Dhabi Canadian Embassy..according to the interviewer it was not an actual interview because it was just part of their quality assurance survey that they were doing annually and i was lucky because I was one of the randomly selected applicants. In fact in the beginning of our "interview" she told us that that was the purpose of our meeting and that nothing is wrong with my file so I can relax during the interview..

When do you will I received the passport request?

1 - We are in s similar situation, I was also called for a QA interview on Mar 8 in AUH embassy....also eagerly awaiting PPR

2 - Proof of funds could be asked for....I have herd a story from a friend's cousin who applied, they asked for proof of funds just before granting the visa, but its very unlikely in your case, because if they had any doubt, they would have probably marked it on their files & asked you at the interview.

We were asked for medical and RPF March1st 2010, along with court certificates and proof of funds. So yes it happens they can ask for POF whenever they want to.
