Hello,

My wife recently arrived in Canada on work visa. She has done her medical for that application. Now we got medical request for our PR application. Does she need to go through the medical process again? if no, what would be the procedure to inform the ottawa office?

n e ideas are welcomed.

Usually the visa office will send a request to do an immigration medical exam if required still - work permit allows for temporary residence, and there is a distinction between medical exams between that (temp residence) and PR. Nevertheless, if her medicals have not lapsed (within 12 mos still) - suggest you contact Ottawa (if this is your processing office) and make a formal inquiry on the validity of her just-taken medical exams and their applicability for use in the PR application and include the copy of receipt of the medical exam in your inquiry. The contact info is seen here:

/hope this helps...
