medical results not received by vo... what now?

hi, just wanted to bump this one up a bit and i do have a question: if we decide to go ahead and do the medicals again - even though we've done them already, they got lost and we don't know whether our vo will admit that this is what actually happened - how can we do them when we no longer have the paperwork which was sent out to us as part of the medical request letter? can these forms be downloaded from somewhere, do designated medical practitioners have copies?

any ideas? anyone?

The medical forms (IMM 1017) are generated by the VO & these days most DMP's are not accepting any medical requests without this form. Although Qorax says that one can do medicals without the Visa Office requesting it, but i doubt these days they would do it on the applicant's request, at-least DMP's in India do not do it without the stamped original form 1017.

just wanted to post, should anyone find themselves in the same situation i was in two weeks ago, that you shouldn't worry, everything will be alright... we got PPR yesterday! no one notified us that the medicals that had gone missing were found, they just sent us the PPR.

so this leg of our journey is over and the most exiciting part is about to begin

This what happend with my brother application!! He did medical in december 30, 2009 and after 4 months vo sent a letter that they didn't recvd any results, then he scaned the copy of recipt which he sent to vo before and doctor detail.!! Than after a month he got his ppr, now he is in canada , so don't worry give the details to vo with medical recipt from doctor am sure in few days u will hear good new..

i´m glad to see they made up for their mistake and found your medicals.
btw, i got my PPR from Vienna on 7 Sept.

@banrad - congrats! will you be mailing your passport(s) or are you planning a little trip to vienna?

i have no time to go to vienna, what with exams and the start of the semester (i see your noc is 4131 so i'm assuming you know what i'm talking about). the email i received says they'll mail the passports back by registered mail but i know people have recently been picking up their passports at the ca embassy in belgrade... i'm confused. but i'll get that part sorted. now that i've got ppr, it's all good! 8)
