Medical request received but wife is pregnant

Hello Guys,
This is for my friend that he has sponsored his spouse from India and invited her to Canada on TRV after received her AOR for Spousal sponsorship. Couple only got to know she is pregnant during their medical exam so as per their doctor advise, she is not able to do the x-ray, rest is fine. Anyone can advise me what will happen in her PR process and as she is already in Canada, how they going to face the medical expenses ? she is on visit visa now in Canada.

The PR process cannot be completed until she completes the X-ray.

For the medical expense, it depends on which province. You need to tell us which province you are living in.
