Medical Request and Background Checks

Hi All,
My husband received his medical request today. He will do the exam on Monday. Does anyone have a recent timeline to share, regarding the completion of the exam and the processing office receiving and processing it?

Once the medical request is made, does that always mean the background checks are completed?
