Hey!

Thanks for reply this thread had gone quiet ages ago, but would be nice to get a few more MLTs/BMSs on here! So had anyone started on CSMLS accreditation, or gone through it? The exam looks a bit evil but not much info re CSMLS exams but there is feedback online about the American version and people seem to find it quite the killer!! Any advice, info or news gratefully received! I am also with only one line in ECAS sad times!!!

hello there and welcome to the quiet house. Have u done PLA? That's the starting point b4 considering the exam.

Well I'm doing the PLA at the moment, I've done the booklet and getting all references etc.. together! I just hope I get to sit the exam as I can study hard just need to be given the chance!!!!! How about you?? Where are you in the process? Are you multidisciplinary or a specialist??

its truly 50/50 chances, but not harm in sending the application .

you will loose nothing except a courier fee.i sent my application on 5th march 2014 and got PER by 28 march, so try your luck

It has been a long cold year so far with nothing coming from the London visa office, 3211 and 3212 are definately not on the top of their list of NOCs to process first...anyone hear about any techs getting MR or any progress whatsoever?!? However on the bright side it gives me a chance to focus on getting through the PLA!!! I'd love to know how awful the exam...anyone?!?!? ;D ;D

@fetenny , I think the first thing is to do d online self assessment which is 50 dollars, then u fill ur competency profile,gather ur work experience, which d format is so different from that of the city. Also fill ur PLA application form and submit along with your supporting documents your application fee and the print out of the online self assessment result. Inform d credential evaluation agent to forward your credential assessment report to CSMLS. Once all these are done u get ur PLA report within 3weeks.

directly to CMLS by issuing institution.Educational Credential
assessment for PLA is diff from that required 4 immigration process.
Also PLA report is not received within 3weeks rather 3months.

Thanks fatenny. WES has already changed all FSWP file to ICAP which is d type of evaluation required for CSMLS . Also since WES has our transcript , someone can request that WES should forward it to CSMLS. My colleague report came back within 3 weeks.

You mean WES now do course-by-cours evaluation? Pla now 3 weeks,this is good news,tanxs

WES does Course by Course evaluation known as the ICAP....if your WES is not in that format so can request its converted to the ICAP for a fee though.
