My 35 year old fiancee is applying for visitors visa from India.
The official document checklist of CIC (on Nov 3 2019) is asking for "Proof of 1 year medical insurance from Canadian company"
Has anybody below 50 years got their visitor's visa approved without buying the insurance before the submission of application
(We plan to buy medical insurance only after visa approval since we are anticipating a potential visa refusal)

Did you all submit your application with the purchased medical insurance?

Maybe I missed it before but only thought 1 year insurance proof was for a super visa and not a plain TRV. Which document checklist are you looking at , IM5484E shows insurance as being a requirement for Parent/Grandparent super visa not a standard visa.

Of course nobody should ever travel to North America, Canada or US without insurance but maybe read the checklist again and buy when visa approved

35 year old person cannot be sponsored a Super visa. There's no requirement for medical insurance for Visitor's visa.
