With three weeks to go until our time is up after getting our ITA.
My immigration specialist has decided that my 8 yr old son who is not accompanying us on the move as he living with his mum in the uk, now needs a medical. This should not of been a issue but it is now as he does not have a passport for ID to use at the medical.
My question is does he really need one? As i would need to take him out of school for a few hours to put him through a medical i think is silly as he is not coming?

Yes, he does. It's mandatory unless his mother has sole custody and refuses to allow it. You would then have to go through a lot of steps to remove the child from the application and you would never be able to sponsor him for PR, even if circumstances changed.
