Hello,

I applied for the permanent residence for Canada in January and in March I received an email confirming that I could proceed with my medical exam which they attached and it was the IMM 1017E. It's been a few weeks since my report was sent, so I'm in the process of applying for a visitor's visa while my PR is still in process, but for the visa, they ask me for another medical exam that is called IMM 1017B. I'd like to know if the IMM 1017B and the IMM 1017E are the same. The only thing I have of the IMM 1017E is a report of my personal information, my photo and a list of the medical exams that were done.

I'd like to know if I can attach that report to my visitor's visa.

Thanks,
BG

hello ,
It would be of great help to me if you can tell me what all medical tests were done for the form IMM 1017E. I really need to know about it urgently.
Thanks

Hello,
I hope it's not too late. First, they will give you a test with a lot of yes/no questions (don't lie about anything and at the beginning of it you will write all your personal information), then a HIV test, a syphilis test and after that you will actually talk with the doctor you had the appointment with. She/he will ask you a lot of questions according to what you answered in the yes/no test and more so don't be nervous. If you said you have used drugs recently, she/he will ask about it but just to see if you have an addiction so don't worry. Also, she/he will be looking for some tumor or something different from your hip up. Finally you'll have a chest X-RAY examination and that's all :)

Hello ,

I applied Permanent residence application in 2018 Feb and my medical is still valid until Jan 2021. Did you end up doing your IMM1017b or did the imm1017e worked. I am in similar situation and trying to apply for visitor visa.

How did you proceed with it?

@Svahora @Brenpgc I am in a similar situation. I have applied for PR with IMM1017e and am now applying for a visitor visa. Can you please tell me if I must get a medical done again and get form IMM1017b?

Hello. I'm wondering if you got an answer for this. I'm in a similar situation now and not sure if I need to do another medical and submit a new form or if I can submit the IMM 1017E
