Medical Exam

Hi All,
My mother applied for her TRV extension on last January 2020. She received her Medical Examination application on June 4th, then after 4 days she received her application. She can stay here until September 2020

My question is : Does she need to take the Medical Exam even though she’s approved to extend her stay here.?
Im trying to book her medical exam appoitment but unfortunately the immigration clinics are not yet available.
My mother’s medical exam is due on July 4th.

Visitors from designated countries (of which India is one) who stay in Canada for more than six months require a medical.

I got medical request for TRV application, it was applied on 31.Jul.2020 for one month stay in Canada....as per my understanding there is NO medical required for TRV if the stay less than 6months...can someone shed some light into this.....why they ask medical for TRV???
