$500 is on the higher side, but it's quite common. Me and my family did our Meds in Connecticut. It was around $430 per person but we also had to do the xrays for $30 each, so in total it was just $40 less than your quote. Definitely not worth a trip from Florida to CT. I also called several facilities in NY and MA, charges are more or less the same.

We went to dr in Michigan .We paid 500$ for 2adults and 1kid.Plus X-ray and test cost which will depend on your insurance.Ours was 60$.
Dis was the cheapest option.
I tried Chicago,New York ,St Louis everywhere it was roughly 400-450$per person.
But for you Michigan will be long distance.

I think that Anpman was talking about insurance coverage on an Xray. Our xray lab was out of network so we just paid out of pocket.

Medical Exams for immigration, however, are not covered by any US insurance.

Hi, I am from Michigan and planning to do the medical soon. Did you have to pay $500 in total for 2 adults and 1 kid? or was it per person?

It will most likely be per person. I will strongly advise getting a Canada TR Visa and getting it done in Canada. It is way cheaper (around 250 CAD) and the doctors over there make it much easier.
