So guys I have a question. I have submitted my paperwork back in October of 2013 and on may 1st I received an email of more paperwork that they requested plus a renewal of my fbi clearance. Long story short I am almost 7 months pregnant. Is there a way for ottawa to give me any kinda letter saying I am almost approved for a PR so I can apply for ohip. I am due august 31st. With no insurance in the US or in canada. Any ideas on what to do please.

You need to have official stage 1 approval/AOI (Approval in Principle). Even if you did get stage 1 approval, you then still need to wait an additional 3 months before you are eligible for OHIP.

So unfortunately I don't see any chance you will have OHIP coverage for your birth.

Did you try to get a midwife? Their services are free to those who don't have OHIP. But they usually have long waiting lists so it's unlikely one would be available with your delivery date so soon. But can't hurt to check.
