Can anyone provide an idea of the cost for the medicals & tests in Canada?
I am not covered by OHIP.

The medical test for CEC applicants do not cover under OHIP.

It depends on the doctor, Whe you cal them to book an appointment, you can ask them.

Mine cost ~270 in northern Ontario; I believe it's a bit less in the GTA. Includes physician fee and labs.

It cost me about $170 in Toronto (last week)

Would you please give us the name of the doctor in Toronto you visited. 170$ is a good rate :)

Thanks
Mari

Did mine yesterday (Oct 27) for $210 in Ottawa.

Mari,

I went to Dr. Nazareth's at College x Bathurst. I paid $130 for the examination + $35 for X-rays. I got an appointment in 2 days. They said they will send the results after 2 weeks.

However, I really have no prior info about the doctor, I just picked it based on location. No complaints so far.

Thank you very much for the info. Good luck for the rest of the process :)

I did mine too last week and cost me exactly $200. It was cheap in 2009 when i did for extension of my study permit.

So ottawaResident, would you mind sharing your timeline so far? and which office is your file in. I myself applied to buffalo and my file got tranfer to CPP Ottawa office and i recieved my medical with my AOR two weeks before and Buffalo recieved my application ON July 28th.

Let me know your timeline and we can keep track for cases in Ottawa!

125 dollors for me in calgary............!!!

$35 seems super cheap for an xray...did you have OHIP coverage at all?

The last xray I had back home was $125 and that was after Medicare (Australia's OHIP) had paid their portion

OHIP does not cover any of the costs associated with immigration exams.
