Hi Folks,

I did my medicals this week and got a call from doctor today telling that my chest x ray is showing scar on the lung. This might go for review and repeat medicals can be requested with smear and sputum tests by CIC .

I did found similar stuffs with couple of other folks in this forum where repeat medicals was requested and all added ~6 months delay. Nothing can be done for the delay but am praying all should come out okay and good with respect to my health. Will meet family doctor soon.

God forbid, wouldn't like anyone to be in such tensed situation owing to personal health, but anyway am opening this topic for anyone to share similar experiences, if any.

My case is somewhat similar. I dont have scar but my doctor said there is some dense fatty tissue showing up in my x-ray.

Same thing came up when I did medicals for work permit last year and it did not cause any issue at that time.

My e-medical report was uploaded by my doctor on 28-Jan but there is no update on my file in ecas since then (it does not say medical received yet).

The doctor who did my medical said, mostly my file should not be put under review, but the delay is worrying me and making me feel that possibly my file has been put under review. :(

The same thing happened with me.

I completed my medicals on the 28th of Feb and today the 11th of March, I received a call from the doctor's clinic (as the doctor is on vacation this week), and the nurse told me that it is not urgent but the doctor would like to see me. So I took the first available appointment which is next Tuesday Next week.

I am very worried and now there is a 7 day long wait before I see the doctor. Hope everything is okay and there is nothing to worry about.

Here's wishing all of us good luck and good health!

I did medical in last month..then officer asked me for ct scan..i did it and sent it..i got this problem in my chest
Unenhanced CT scan of the chest was performed in this patient to have had a
chest x-ray outside institution in June 2019 which demonstrated right upper
lobe collapse. This is a follow-up CT scan.

There is right upper lobe collapse with tubular hypodensities with punctate
foci of air consistent with mucous plugging there are prominent right hilar
lymph nodes largest measuring 1.3 cm in diameter.

There is increased density in the prevascular fat which has a triangular
shape most likely residual thymus.

On lung windows there is mild linear parenchymal change in the lingula and
in the right upper lobe consistent with parenchymal scar atelectasis.

On limited upper abdominal views no suspicious abnormality is identified.

On bone windows no aggressive osseous lesions are seen.so i am worrying now..anyone know what he will ask now..
