I am also in dilemma and do not know how to carry funds as Central Bank stopped the Travel Cheques transcations, Which is the best means to carry funds and I have my some ornaments Tilahari etc, may I carry there? Do custom charge to be paid or not?
Hope the experienced people suggest me.

You can bring cash and other as draft...no custom will be charged in any goods or ornaments for those who are entering for first time. from next time we have to pay the tax for all new goods.

I am the applicant of june 2010.Now waiting for Visa and pp.My medical Report and pp sent in the third week of Oct 2013 to NDVO.

dont worry about grocery. u can bring special nepali item like gundruk or such things if u like. pressure cooker/frying pan/bed sheet and plenty of warm clothes could be beneficial to bring.

My mother got her DM on the 6th of September. Contacted VFS in KTM and was told to send an email to NDHC requesting them to send passport through VFS. Sent the email but no answer. So I don't know when the passport will be sent to ktm and through which courier, VFS or Skynet. So I guess I will just have to wait for the email from NDHC for further instructions......

I want phone number of VFS Kathmandu ..please reply.
