Median wage

Hi all,

Yesterday I went to an ICCRC office and they said that my salary must be equal or higher than median wage. Is it true?

This is right when applying for LMiA.

Above median wage occupations are considered skilled occupations. Below medium wage occupations are considered low skill. You can still apply for Express Entry without a problem. You just have to be careful to record everything correctly so you don't get assessed more points then are due to you based on the merits of your current job in Canada. Once the application is reviewed, if the CRS points assessment is deemed to be incorrect and the reassessed amount of points is below the average for that invite cycle, your application will be refused.
