Median wage - what does an immigration officer check?

Hi guys,

For those applying through CEC stream, can you please help me understand what information the IRCC requests about your salary and when do they do it during the process? What exactly do they ask for?

I understand that for any skilled migration you have to earn the median wage for the job - so I need to tell my employer about this so they can give me a pay increase.

I don’t think it matters unless you are getting LMIA for that specific job title then you need the median wage of that particular job position.

I got rejected from PNP because I didn't meet median wage. Other people may have gotten away with it, but not me, so I need to know!

PNP and LMIA is different scenario but experience for express entry can be on any rate.

So you can earn minimum wage for an executive level job and still qualify for CEC?
