MBA any day over MEng..atleast for me
wts ur GMAT score ? n wt is the fee structure for MBA at UNB ?

fee structure is 24,500 in UNB
pros about this univ are
--good staff
--economical fee
--good program structure
--62 credits which is like 2 years
cons are
-- no jobs
-- no PNP program
-- small city with little happening around
--very very few companies located in the city
--not sure whether one would get 3 yr PGWP or 1 year

University of ottwa
pros
-- located in the capital
--good jobs
-- 3 year PGWP
--reputed univ
-- fee is 24000
--lots of industries and companies situated

cons
-- since choosing M.Engg mgmt
-- MBA will have an edge anytime

GMAT yet to take and UNB will waive off if u have a good GPA which I have

ur advice pls..

is that so ? they accept without GMAT as well ? just with IELTS ?

I have 60% in B.E. and 4 yrs work exp..is that good enough ?

I don't think the mentioned % is good enough for a GMAT waiver(given only at Saint John campus)...follow the below link and you may get a clear picture...

http://www.unb.ca/saintjohn/business/mba/apply/application.html

Even I looked at it and ignored due to the cut-off mentioned...

Thanks..

Go for UNB ,, small city less job competition,, if u go for 2 years ,,, u can get up to 2 years PGWP,, no PNP,, however federal immigration is still there,, after two u never know what will happen,, I am saying this because I know many people in Canada,, u may find job at new Brunswick,, but at Ottawa,, I don't think so,, well its up to u,

I am not looking for an MBA admission, as I have collected negative feed back every where on jobs once the degree is completed...

Prospects of a job after masters degree are more likely ( in most provinces) as they are falling short of technical people in the fields of science and technology.

agreed to that ...

that is the reason i was considering engg mgmt in ottawa .........which has got decent no of jobs and u dont need to move out of the province to find a full time job...wer in saint john u have and have to move out to find one...
