Okay,
So I have applied to sponsor my husband.
I have received AOR on 2 April.

I do know I do not need a job to get SA.
In my application I explained how after returning from the wedding I have decided to make my 2 year old part - time business into a full time one.
I will be staying at my parents place rent free, and they will help me financially till my husband arrives and my business in in good financial motion.

My friends have been repeatedly telling me I will get SA sooner if I get a part time job and my husband will get his visa faster if I get a job.
And saying things like not having a job is the reason for not having SA, and will have direct impact on my husbands app.
Is this true?
Should I go look for a part time job to make my SA faster. its been 11 days.
Once I do receive SA, will it still matter if I have this job?

Very confused.

Well firstly you have already submitted your application so getting a part time job now won't make any difference but more importantly there is no financial requirement to sponsor under family class. From your post you have explained to CIC what your situation is and that will hopefully suffice. If they need further information about finances they would let you know but to be honest I wouldn't worry.

Okay, So let's say and hopefully I will receive SA soon.
would getting a part time job along with my business help with my husbands application? will it help his file get processed faster,or without issues?

Again, it won't make any difference. His process is about his background and the validity of the relationship. Once approved for SA, your finances won't really be looked at again...

That's good to know...
I guess I can at this point then, just wait and hope to get SA soon without any further financial info requested.

Thank you guys!

Friends are full of miss guided information. How many has gone through spousal family sponsorship .. Getting a part time job is not going to make a difference. You have explained to CIC . At the moment I believe they are processing application from Feb.
