Hey fanboy! you and I have the same received date if I'm not mistaken, can you not view your ECAS at all? like did you see your app and then it disappeared or have you never been able to see it? Maybe you should tried to contact CIC and hopefully they can verbally confirm to you that all is well

Do you use pre-PR time for citizen app?

Hello again Fanboy! I hope it will show for you soon too, it really should!! And yes I did pal, I came here as a undergrad student years ago so spent in Canada 5.5 years pre-PR and submitted my citizenship app basically 2 years post-PR. How about you?

This is what happened to mine too, but after about 1 week or so, it was active again and I could see the date they received my application and that they sent me the Discover Canada book. I'm sure yours will become active again soon.

My bet is that it happened when someone resorted the sheet. Not everybody knows how to run a spreadsheet, and it's likely some data got confused.

Thanks! In any case I called cic and they couldn't track my application yet. Weird as I've seen people who have submitted their applications after mine and their ecas has been updated!

Honeybird2 - I was wondering the same question. My application was rec'd May 8 and in progress July 10th and haven't gotten the book in the mail.

FWIW, the book is available for free from a number of places... there are electronic versions available from CIC website, or you can go to your local Service Canada to pick up a hard-copy.

The only use the shipment from CIC has is the AOR letter...

My application was received on May 26th and in process since July 23rd! Still waiting for my AOR and book to arrive in the mail....

Anyone here who forgot to write "N/A" in application and it was returned by CIC? (or still got application processed?)
