u dont to reschedule ur oath , u can get canadian passport before u travel go to passport canada Apply in person and show them ur ticket u get passport following day
Thanks mimi
The problem is to be able to get Indian visa in time for travel.

I think I will be ok.
Called Indian embassy and was told that I can still use my Indian passport to travel to India for 3 months after taking the oath.
And I would be able to get Canadian passport in a day.
Does this makes sense guys? It is hard for me trust these people in the Indian Consulate ;)

If possible, try to go to India with your Canadian passport in hand as well, so that in case you run into trouble with the Indian authorities, you can still come back home to Canada.
