Hi, i'm also joining the May 2014 applicant group. Sent family application on May 17 and was received May 21. I think my application should be processed in the Mississauga office. No ECas update yet.

Glad its processing quickly. the new decision model (no more citizenship judge) take effect next month. hopefully will receive AOR soon!

Citizenship judges will remain for presiding over ceremonies and administering oaths, but they will not be involved in the decision-making process:

Good point, Pedros.

Still, I will be interested in seeing an official link that states that from July, CJs won't be seeing our applications. I am little bit skeptic if the CIC officials are capable of deciding applications that meet basic residence of 3 years but not physical presence - such applications are best left to the citizenship judges.

Hey all,

I submitted mine on May 2nd,and actually, never tracked the parcel. But I guess it must have arrived a few days later.

I have not yet heard anything back from CIC (which worries me a bit). Will keep you guys posted if anything happens.

Ekaramad, expect a letter anythime soon as CIC is presently opening applications from the 1st week in May. Confirmed by CIC.
