We were a little worried my visa would be on hold because of it. Since SOWP rejection rate is also high. Didn't know better then.

I remember you told me you do have visitor visa earlier and you have not gone for biometrics this time.

Hey people. So i am yet to apply for my wife's SOWP. I have just got my passport back today with Counterfoil so gonna apply in a couple of days as soon as POE is updated.

How long it usually is taking if we apply separately? Can it come before i leave in April so we both leave together?

Hey. Not yet. Can't apply without POE which i just received today. You should start the process of getting passport stamped immediately so you can also get POE asap.

Just noticed, you are based in UAE but applied from PH. Did you choose the option applying from a PH in the main form? I was tempted to do it for my home country but was warned by many that it might lead to misrepresentation as I live & work in UAE.

Just noticed, you are based in UAE but applied from PH. Did you choose the option applying from a PH in the main form? I was tempted to do it for my home country but was warned by many that it might lead to misrepresentation as I live & work in UAE.

Was worried about it too. However, decided to push through as a lot of Filipinos did the same and got their approval. In IMM form we declare as working in UAE but current territory is Philippines hence, our application was lodged in PH as UAE has high rejection rate..

Thanks Yenice, my wife is from PH as well She told me she saw in lot of DIY forums mostly Filipinos are doing this way. Maybe you are blessed with a nice VO ;-) AUH ones are quite harsh with their decisions but anyways, lets see how it turns out.
