Hi All,
Need your valuable advice.

My current status as of 30th Aug:

AOR 14th August 2017,Medical passed (28 Aug); current status IP1( 29 Aug).
Number of applicants: PA+ spouse+ child
Nationality: India,
Residence: USA
Address in application: USA
FSW Outland

Issue:

My spouse and child are planning to travel back to India for good in September mid week and will not return back to USA.

Queries:

1. Should i inform CIC about this travel ? If yes, whats the process?

2. or Let them travel as planned in September but don't update CIC now .Wait till PPR mail and then inform CIC?

3. What will be the LVO in the case where PA and accompanying spouse are in different countries?

4. Will there be any delay in my application process due to this ? Is it better to avoid the travel till PPR ? (FYI,I will be losing a lot of money ~$5k towards apartment rentals and thats the reason i am planning to send them back to India)

Thanks,

Thanks,
I am kind of in a similar situation. My spouse, listed as a dependent on the application, recently traveled to Canada. I raised a CSE to inform them of the travel dates. My approach is - more information is better than CIC assuming that we are hiding or providing incomplete information. I think this new piece of info will delay my application processing. But better late than get rejected.

If anyone else had a similar experience, please let us know what steps you took!

I want to clarify one thing when BG status is " we are processing...." means we all passed eligibility and all and just waiting for the final background check?
Meds and IP1 almost happen simultaneously, and it goes to NA from there. Which means, criminality based on PCC and Meds got clear

Eligibility and Security are the last phases (Based on my conversation with CIC agents)
this phase is a.k.a IP2 ....

My limited observation has led me to believe that those with shorter NA periods have relatively longer wait on IP2 (like 2 to 3 weeks) and those with 2 to 4 weeks+ period of NA will spend less time on IP2 like a day or two before they get their PPR.

To answer your question ... we are processing your BGC happens twice

Once during IP1 also know as R.10 check and 2nd time in IP2

If it's the 2nd time then your assumption would be definitely correct.

I am FSW-O, Indian citizen currently residing in USA. What would be the LVO? Any idea?
Did you make an application from USA? If yes then your LVO could be nearest Canadian embassy in USA and if you applied from India, then it could be either New Delhi or Bangalore.

i do not know the timeline for BG check, it was we are progressing before and now we are processing. do you differentiate between progressing vs processing? as i know one of them is IP1 (progressing) and IP2 (processing). Do you mean IP2 can happen twice ?

Honestly i don't recall seeing "Progressing" on my application, having said that, i only started monitoring the progress in August, i let it be the way it was for first 8 weeks except for the med pass status, cuz in that case i received an email too. When did you clear Meds?

Very rare case of IP happening thrice on an application, but, by all means, it seems that you're not too far from PPR, may be a week or two at most.

what all checks done in IP2 and how many days it takes to move from NA2 to IP2
Mostly its eligibility, meaning work experience as claimed in application and POF i guess, last is security, it can take from 30 minutes to about a months time from NA to IP2,,,, it depends on how long have you been on NA2 overall, after IP1 and have you paid RPRF upfront?

Assuming the obvious that your AOR is May too, you can count on being in NA for around two more weeks and then see the PPR coming hence forth. All the best.
