Guys, I got an email that my file is at Ottawa office and is being processed.

Does the file being at Ottawa has any significance? It has been 2 weeks since I paid RPRF and there has been no update so far :(

I think we are in the same boat.
Paid RPRF on 20th July upon the request made on 18th July. When I called the agent yesterday I was informed the application is being processed. Currently in NA2 which initiated on 10th of July.

Just to find some similarities between us
I am based in Dubai and a Sri Lankan. Are u based in Middle East and a national from Indian sub continent. I see that most of Nigerians got PPR this week. Hopefully some change next week, in shaa Allah.

@ajawfer Thanks for the response. Based on my profile, I think they haven't initiated the background check(IP2) on my profile. Hopefully, we see some movement in our application next week!

FYI - I am of Indian origin, currently in the US. If the country of residence is different from nationality, does this delay processing?

I really don't know if nationality plays a role in deciding Issuance of PPR, but it looks like it does. Many say that

Hi all, just want to say I submitted my application on 28/05/2017 and received AOR the same day, then tday I received my PPR.

All in all this is about 9 weeks, and I'm a little suspect in regards to how it was sooo fast.

Is there anyone here who has sent their passport/photos yet?

All right guys I have completed the IP1.

Background Check went from processing to Not applicable.

"Click to expand" will show my details.

Any one else has seen the update?

Hey,

As you know I have similar timelines & my med passed on 2 August.
I am still at Ip1, I will update when I pass Ip1.

Well, lets pray that we get an update next week.

Hi Kirank and seniors,
I was in NA2 for about 30 days now. Just yesterday Aug 4, the additional docs status changed to "We do not need Additional documents". Previous status was "the additional docs u provided are being reviewed" and this was the state since AOR. Mine is a typical case where no docs were ever asked so far.
1. Does additional docs status change signify anything for a PPR email?
2.When can I expect my BG status change from NA2 to IP2?
3. When can I expect my case be transfered from CIO,Sydney to my LVO which can be NewDelhi or Bangalore.?

Mine is a May 04 AOR case, FSWP , outland, 2173 Noc, 3 applicants, 2 employers with total 12yrs exp, 2 PCC , 3 countries visited in last 10 yrs. Age 34.

After 22 days with the IP2 status... My application was changed to:

Background check: Not applicable.
