Is there a difference between CPC and Visa Office? Is application processed in CPC and then finalized in VO?

Hi Varun84,

Thanks for your reply. If I want to go for Option-1, then if my friend can bring my PR card with him while he is travelling to India and then I can come back with PR card to enter Canada. Would that work?

And I read many posts where people have done so. I would not mind going for Option 2 either as I will have time to come back to Canada till May 2018.

Thank you for your feedback.

Cheers!
Hey Kimi,

In my opinion, you're more likely to face administrative hassles in Option 1 as compared to Option 2. My recommendation would be Option 2, as long as you have a couple of months for completing your landing in Canada. You might find the link below useful:

Good luck!

Cheers

Can somebody please explain this ??

I am not entirely sure about this, but from what i know. CPC or case processing centres are locations where they process applications within canada.

Visa offices are processing locations outside Canada, this would be common for applicants from a few cities or a few countries.

So it will be processed at either a CPC or a Visa Office, hope that helps

So i was asking about this in one of our watsapp groups and someone told me... all inland apps go to CIO Sydney which is the Centralized intake office and then it gets transferred to CPC ottawa ..

Yeah I called at CIC helpline and they told me that my file has been moved from CIO Sydney to Ottawa CPC. My medical status is still showing as "we are reviewing the results of your medical exam" and my BG status changed from " We are processing you background check..." to N.A

Not sure whats going on

Hi everyone.

Can my bank account go below the minimum threshold during my application process or is it fixed when I sent them the application?
Further, is the exchange rate counted as the prevailing rate at the time of application submission, or does it fluctuate as per actual?

I am at NA2 now since June 27th. Detailed timeline below:

AOR = 11th May
Meds = 26th June
IP1 = 27th June
NA2 = 27th June
