Finally got my invitation for the interview, MP was saying I should wait 3 more months and my application is still active but I received IRCC interview invitation the same day that I received their response. I was expecting an online interview but instead they sent an in person invite so I'm excited a little bit ngl.
Interview was easy, it was just like how everyone else here experienced. Officer just went through my application asked a couple of questions and it was done after 10 mins, I brought like 40 pages of docs but they didn't check any of them lol. I received a ghost update but no update on LPP yet, hopefully will see some progress in the next week.

Did the officer say anything about when you should be seeing an update on your tracker? Usually it is about a week or so.

Has anyone participated in the Citizenship to Passport Pilot program? I'm doing it and submitted on Friday (day after oath). My Citizenship Document was ready the same day as the oath so much faster than the reported 5-days. Just wondering how quick the passport may actually arrive. On the call they said up to 20 business days plus mail. Really wish they would offer a courier option so we don't have to wonder about Canada Post delays. Not sure if they send an email when it is being mailed but that would be nice too!

Received Citizenship to Passport Pilot Program invitation today (March 3, 2026) and have already submitted the application form, photo, and payment receipt via Canada Post Connect.

Hello All.

My citizenship interview was on Feb 26 at Vancouver Visa office. My application includes 3 folks, myself, my wife and minor daughter. So, it was me and my wife at the interview.
The officer asked the usual questions which others have mentioned here such as our travels out of Canada and confirming some of the other details in our application like our place of residence etc. I think the officer is just trying to make sure that the applicant is genuine. On Feb 28, tracker was updated for me and wife saying LPP is done with Citizenship ceremony marked in progress. In the tracker they also mentioned the data of oath and mentioned i will get email soon on oath ceremony details. On March 4th, i got the oath details mail. So, here is my journey so far in the citizneship application process.
