Yay! I did request in person - and I believe my date has my venue closer to my home in Surrey. So that might have been why I got my notification first.Tracker updated - Oath scheduled for March 13th! No email with details yet.
Yeah I think mine may be in person as well - looks like they do in-person ceremonies in Surrey on Wednesdays and in Vancouver on Fridays so that lines up for the both of us!Yay! CIT CSIS Screening started (edit: “received”) Aug 28
Status for screening says “received” so I guess my file will be stuck forever
Very weird stuff, will apply for CSIS notes too
Update: seems like “received” means they have already received results from CSIS? If that’s the case then they are just incompetent…

There are couple of youtube videos. Basically you join in. There will be a clerk who will let you in.Has anyone been through the Virtual Oath ceremony yet? I'm just curious what the process is, I have a low Seat number and guess there will be some form of presentation followed by individual oaths by seat. Curious if after you complete your oath, cut up the PR and sign the document (all being witnessed - are you then able to leave or do you need to wait for everyone to complete the process. If there are only a dozen or so participants in a session, then probably not an issue but the invite is national (or at least the list the time in every Canadian timezone...
This is absolutely correct and exactly what happens in the virtual oath ceremony. There are couple of youtube videos. Basically you join in. There will be a clerk who will let you in.
Then you go in various break rooms where the IRCC officers will verify your docs and ask you cut the PR card and congratulate you.
Then you wait in the common room where after all the candidates are admitted the IRCC officer will introduce the room to the judge. Nice videos are played and then the oath and singing of national athem is done.
Send the form only after your oath is complete and you drop from the call. The IRCC officer only verify cutting the PR card.
