How did your interviews go?
I got there 10mins early. Was interviewed 5mins early. Interview took about 10mins.

I don’t think there is anything to be concerned about. Just going over questions that you answered in your application.

Simple.

Agent wouldn’t give a timeline, but he said to keep an on my inbox over the next few months, so within the expected timeframe I guess.

Thanks for the update! I was hoping they'd say you'd be scheduled for the oath ceremony in the next week or so.

How did your interviews go?
Arrived about 5-10 minutes early, absolutely no one there - went in about 5 minutes after the scheduled interview time, was done in less than 10 minutes.

He looked at my PR card and drivers' license, all of my travel documents, asked me what my address was, asked if I've ever had any trouble with the police or immigration, asked what I do for work.

He asked if I had any questions "other than about processing time," to which I said no, and said he would be making a decision "shortly."

Will post here when LPP gets updated, etc.

I'll let you know if that does happen.

But I just think they're not allowed to promise anything ... so that was the safest answer the agent was allowed to give.
In my case the officer clearly told that if there are no clarifications needed, I’ll be getting oath details in a week or two. And he was absolutely correct. I had my LPP updated and completed in a week and another couple of days I had oath ceremony updated to in progress.

I hope you misheard or he misspoke months instead of weeks.

Here is my timeline

@arkhan433 , @gc1735 , @aaron_matthew since you guys had your interviews recently , a question.

Were your applications also including your spouse or kids? If so, did you and your spouse get the interview scheduled on the same day and at the same time?
Also, do they take your and your spouse's interview at same time.?

I also have a family application, I applied for myself and my wife and a minor together and then we merged the applications. So yes, your application is exactly like mine.
I and my wife received the interview and it was scheduled on the same day, time and at the same place. For minor we didn’t receive any email and we didn’t take the minor with us as my kid had school.

For interview, we were called together at the counter and answered the questions together. The officer will ask question specific to either one of you, so I suggest to listen carefully and only answer the question you’re asked. If the question is for you spouse, you don’t answer.
Another thing is to check the title of the interview letter carefully, for example if it says “INVITATION TO AN INTERVIEW WITH A CITIZENSHIP OFFICIAL AND VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY/DOCUMENTS”
This means they’ll only check your documents and ask about your work, travel, etc. A friend of mine was asked to take the test again then and there and he wasn’t ready for it and when he checked the letter, it clearly stated he needed to take the test again.
I hope this helps!

Unfortunately I'm applying solo as my wife is Canadian.

He did say months ... but I kind of put him on the spot and he ummed and ahhed some ... but I'm expecting days to a couple weeks based on all the dates I've come across in these forums.

I figure we'll all get similar timelines based on our interview timeframes and how everyone's interviews went (basically it was an identification check and a repeat of questions). Simple stuff.
