I also checked the processing times for May 2025 applicants and the system says 4-months left. In the GCMS notes, there are references to processing timelines that correspond with this which I think is some form of internal deadline. 4 more months won't kill me but it is frustrating seeing so many go fast while also knowing my application should be as straightforward as they come. Something got mess up somewhere and just need to wait on the right person to ask WTF...

I share your frustration, and considering the inactivity within this topic, it seems like we are the only unlucky ones left behind. I just hope that we will see some progress these days.

Well I finally heard from IRCC and it appears my presence calculate had missed a few day trips I made to the states and also had the wrong arrival date on two flights. After flipping the thousands of emails/records, I was appear to resurrect the correct information and in the end it only add a few days to my presence.

Now I have to wonder how long the re-evaluation will take.. it was my own error of course...

I just got off the phone with IRCC again, and was told that my LPP hasn't been started. My last update online was five months ago.

What I find frustrating is the explanation that “every application is different.” I understand that individual files can have unique factors, but that answer doesn’t really explain why applicants who applied after me, and appear to be in the same application stream, already have their LPP marked as in progress, completed or have even gone through a ceremony (some in August now have citizenship).

If there is a regional backlog in Vancouver, a workload imbalance, or internal prioritization system, I would much rather hear that directly. Saying that every application is different feels like a generic response that avoids explaining how files are actually queued and processed.

I am not, and have never expected, an identical timeline to everyone from May, just clearer and more transparent communication about delays when asked. Being told there is no update for months without a reason that actually makes sense makes the waiting harder than it needs to be, especially after progressing alongside everyone through the initial steps of testing and the background check.

Do you mind if I ask how they contacted you to inform you of this and if it was in response to any contact from your end?

Were day trips instances where you were not in the States overnight, so left Canada and returned again on the same date?

Thanks! Thinking this may be the issue on my end as well.

Do you think IRCC forgot or something happened to June 2025 AOR applications. Recently i have seen people get oath in 2.5 to 3 months after AOR. People with November AOR are getting oath invite.

My status was Grant Review Ready PM03 and transitioned to Grant Clearance Pending a few months later after Language and Physical Presence were completed.
Looks like the PM03 officer done the review and it's waiting on CIT CSIS Screening which is outside the scope or IRCC.
is your BG pending?

I am in the same boat.

Applied: May 16, 2025
AOR: June 18, 2025
FP: Jul 14,2025
Test Invite: Aug 05, 2025
Test ECA Complete: Aug 13, 2025
Background done: Aug 28, 2025

Pin drop silent after that no movement in application, reached out to MP, he replied the same to wait until May 2026 as per current processing time.

Hi guys..

I had some progress on my application today.
Application Date : May 20th
AOR : July 3rd
Back ground complete : August 12th
Test complete : October 5th
Addition documents requested for wife on October 24th , regarding to travel to USA . It was related to ensuring min days requirement
LPP Complete : January 31, 2026
Oath : not started.

So i think all of us who went into secondary/non routine category are seeing the light at the end of tunnel.
Trust the 13 month period shown on website, most probably your application should be complete by then

I received an email which included a list of all my trips out of Canada (ICES Report). Actually the report mostly shows Return Dates since most departures are not captured by immigration.

Every single trip was listed (day trips/over nights/longer trips). I had missed a couple of day/over night trips despite what I thought was accurate record keeping but I was able to find information about my trip to determine when I left/returned. Their email arrived on Jan 29th and asked that I update the presence calculator to address all their records. This was easier enough since you can edit the previously saved calculator. I send back my reply with the revised calculator later on Jan 29th. I received a folllow-up this morning since I had not address one line on their report but it actually wasn't a trip/absence. I had a flight out of Vancouver that was very delayed and I needed to be re-routed but to do so, I had to collect my bags, exit immigration and re-check in so their report had an Exit/Entrance on the same day.

It was great to get an email and even better to see such a quick follow-up. Hopefully this will address any questions that they had. Because their contact was via email, I didn't check the tracker but just did and see that my Prohibitions was updated on the 31st to say completed. All signs are pointing in the right direction!

Good luck

I had my interview today, I believe their main concern was my long trips out of Canada in past 7 years. I was away for 3 years and 10 days from 2019 to 2022 and then again 65+ days in 2024.

Interview details:
Checked PR card, Driver license and health card. Asked questions about my trips out of Canada and employment history and current employment status. The interview lasted for less than 5 minutes and then I had some questions that look another 2-3 minutes.
In the end the CO said he was satisfied with everything so far. I will receive email if he has further questions or clarification, if not, they will send email of oath details in a week or so.

I understand from the past calls to IRCC my BC and CSIS is also clear.
Another thing, I had requested the notes over a month ago and I have not yet received anything yet. Since my application close to completion, they didn't bother to work on that request.
