@mvk88 : I just tried a diiferent pattern from what I did before and got it lucky. My application got linked in my IRCC account.

Step 1 : I selected the option " Application number and Family name " Entered as per my wife's passport

Step 2 : Selected place of birth option

Step3 : Very important step - Go to your PR tracker application -> Contact details -> Just copy the place of birth detail fully and paste it here . Ex : xxxx, yyy . Don't even miss a space.

Step4 : Important too - After province, city & marital status --- > For No of family members -> I entered 2 ( For your understanding : I am the sponsor and I am sponsoring for my wife , no dependents)

Hope this works for you.

Thank you, I followed your instructions. For the place of birth part it showing unspecified. His passport shows Los Angeles. And I put 5 as we have 3 non accompanying dependent in our application. Nothing works its so frustrating .

Not sure about the new opportunity. I applied visitor visa for my wife in Feb 2023 and got it approved in 2-3 weeks. After she came here, I applied Inland spouse PR and it's in process now.

Hello Everyone,

This morning I received this message from CIC. Is this AOR? There is no pdf attachment , just only my (sponsor's) UCI and File number.
1 IF it is AOR, Can I apply for Open work permit for my spouse and how long it takes?
2 Can I assume that my file is complete and they started processing my application?

My Timelines is as follows,
Sponsor (Husband) Spouse in Canada Class
First Application submitted 12/04/2023
Application returned 17/05/2023(reason: one form missing but I am sure portal didn't ask that form)
Application resubmitted 17/05/2023
Update today 07/07/2023

Thank you bro. I am thinking how long it would take to get OWP if i apply? I have heard people get their PR via spousal inland sponsorship well before their OWP arrives.
Could you please tell, what will be the next steps after AOR?
My wife did her medical in 2022 October and had her Biometrics taken in 2022 January. As per CIC website, there is a public policy till 2024 dec that inland PR applicants are exempt from taking Medicals and If someone applied their PR before june, then they need not to retake biometrics. Let's see how long the whole process gonna take.

Regards

For OWP, 147 days processing time.

For the Biometrics and Medical, they have that policy but they till requested me to do another Biometrics and Medical. Reason: the application is now for PR and Medical Request type is now EDE. What I have done before was Medicals for Non-EDE. So expect your wife the same.
