Everything become completed today, only Citizenship ceremony is in progress.
I'm so happy for those who applied on paper in May getting the entire process done in 4 months. While those who applied since January online have not seen any movement in their files or any communication on what the plan for online applicants is. I was thinking I was doing the IRCC staff a favor by applying online because they wont have tons of papers filling up their offices and also an officer wont have to physically read through and scan lots of pages before beginning to process but I was so wrong.

I was going through some of the previous messages just to get some idea of the sequence of steps in this process. So if I understood correctly, the timing of the test invite is not linked to a 'completed' background check?
