I have to ask you, because I have also deferred to Jan 2022 (applied May 15th), Did you upload your new LOA to your application? I am using an immigration consultant and they have advised me not to upload the new LOA as it could delay my application. However, I don't believe this would be the case?

Nope, my agent did not send the new LOA via webform. From what I heard, you only need to advise IRCC if your deferral is more than 150 days.
But you will need to present the new LOA to the border officer when you land.

To an extent, if it was a medical request, it is a good sign. The timeframe for the officer to send out PPR could be within 24 hours, days, weeks, or otherwise.

You think so? I was in Canada for 2years 2016-2018 on IEC visa so I thought that they already had my biometrics
