I did exactly what sinou39 said. It's so much easier to apply online. I would be lying if I say that I am not concerned with other online applicants not receiving AOR, but I take comfort in the fact that this is an official process and sooner or later we will all advance to further steps.

Yes, you'll have to get a digital copy of your photo along with the receipt which should include the photographers address.

All the best with whichever method you choose.

PSA - I just noticed two emails from IRCC in my email junk folder. Both of these seem to have been sent right after I submitted my online application:

1. Submission Confirmation - Online Citizenship Application
2. Online Citizenship Application - Link to download copy of citizenship application

It’s not ideal that IRCC emails ended up in the junk folder. Please check yours! (I use gmail).

Do we have to submit RCMP police certification (PCC for Canada) or not required? do they ask fingerprints or police certificate for Canada presence at later stages?

1. At the time of application you aren't required to submit a police certificate from Canada.
2. I believe they'll do a security check on you as part of the application process and might request you to submit fingerprints at a later date.

Dont worry i also got them in junk, i use outlook. Even it is mentioned in email that check your junk for AOR in future.

It was a PSA = Public Service Announcement. I was letting others know that that their emails might be in the junk folder. Not worried. You can (and probably should) “whitelist” @cic.gc.ca so emails from that domain never go to junk.
