@legalfalcon please advise me
I have submitted my file and got AOR on the same day.. now I am confused because one of my friend told that we need to include all full time work in personal activities section.. I worked after I got my work permit, full time, like two and half months as CSR in gas station.. and while writing my personal history I have written in that time I was searching for skilled job and didn’t include my gas station job.. now do I need to send LOE? Will there be a problem ? As I didn’t know I need to include the job for which I haven’t claimed any points.. what should be done now? Please advise

thanks in advance

It is not a problem. You only get points for the work you declare. As regards personal history, you have to be truthful and declare your activity during that time. If you were just working part time and were searching for a job, no need to add it to your personal history, especially if it was only for 2 months.

Hi, just an update...

I am May 5 AOR and I just received an email asking to upload the receipt of the payment difference. I have paid the difference before I submitted my application. I attached it to the client information. The email asked me to upload it to a new tab which I did.

Thanks!

Hi How much we need to pay for the additional fees? I paid $1125 on May 22 when I submitted it, but they asking the additional fees, I saw the website shows $1325, so I paid $ 200 and submit to the web form. Today I received the email from IRCC, they said i paid incorrect amount. Please help me with that. Thank you guys

$285 is the difference, as in your original payment it included the $85 biometrics fee, which is separate to this fee increase.

How do you know that R10 is completed? Anything changes on the application status?
I don't think that you get an actual communicated confirmation of it, but I believe one way that it can be inferred is when your temp UCI number in your profile "CAN000..." converts to your actual UCI. This is just what I've interpreted from other threads, I don't know for sure.

Does anyone know if I can get open work permit, while waiting for the decision. I'm CEC inland applicant, my work permit expired last November and since then I extended my stay as visitor. On the CIC website it says you can apply for open work permit if you are applicant of permanent residence. Bringing open work permit can be applied only when your current status is worker.
