This is really surprising that name change needs the whole process again. You did not give the name change request in the initial application?
I have updated in July sheet
I'm not sure why they take so long. Do you think its worth asking them why its taking so long? No, we had changed the name after the initial application

Hey so my test invite says I should bring my PR card if I ever had one. So problem is my PR card expired way back in 2013 or 2014 and I lost it at the bar one night. I never reported it lost because I was a stupid young student and now Im wondering what to do? should I report it now and take the report with me to the test?

Passed citizenship test today. Immigration officer said I need to wait for 5 months since external background check is still in progress.

Hi all,

I received my AOR on July 31st but ECAS is still unable to find my application.

I'm starting to worry that there is something wrong, is there anything I could/should be doing at this point?

This is really concerning. My application is in process since August 7 and I don’t know how long it’s gonna be more before I get test date, and five months just for oath date is just
