No. Your application doesn´t stop because of GCMS notes request.
Pretty nice. I guess, Ottawa is doing it faster .FSW-O

Hey guys,
I'm still stuck at IP1. 110 days from AOR.
I've called CIC and they told me the eligibility is 'recommended pass' but the background check hasn't started.
Do you believe this is the time to get Notes?
Thanks
Congratulations on your progress today. -)I am an Outland Applicant. I have already applied for the GCMS notes, expecting them on the 1st of September. Do let me know of any progress on your application.
Just out of curiosity, if they are processing background check, which I believe is IP2, would the eligibility recommended as passed or entirely passed?Yes but do ask specific questions
1. Eligibility status, if recommended passed or fully passed.
2. Background started or not
Since when are you stuck in IP2, if I may ask?I was on call with CIC, they said my application its still under process, they already start background and criminality check and my file is in ottawa ... nothing much really to help
more then a monthSince when are you stuck in IP2, if I may ask?
Did you read this somewhere or encountered this or just guessing?
Right.. Thanks. I just felt a bit annoyed by the endless wait without any update.
GCMS request never halts your case processing. On the contrary, in situations where it is stuck, it gets the required "push".Did you read this somewhere or encountered this or just guessing?
I know, I have been waiting since May 11th...no sign of even RPRF yet...I am dying with anxiety.
