Hey guys we just got SA email around 5pm this evening,from Ontario.
Application received 5th May
AOR1.. 3rd June
SA........23rd June

I, the sponsor, received the SA in my email. It says there that the application is being transferred to Manila.

I am sure yours is about to be approved as well.

Congrats! It looks like many or most of the May 1-5 applicants in this group have now received their SA. I thought mine was going to be transferred to Manila too because my spouse and I are in Korea. But my email said Ottawa instead. I actually don't know which is better..cause I haven't sent in my spouse's medical yet

hi! does anyone know how the case specific enquiries form works? In my SA it stated if my husband has not already done the medical, to do an upfront medical now and send it directly to the visa office (abu dhabi). It says to email the info directly to the visa office using case specific form. When i looked online i am confused on how to be sure that the form is going directly to abu dhabi. Anyone know? Or is it going to a general bank where it should be filtered to go to the visa office?

usualy the clinic will submit the results electronically yo cic....ours they sent us a copy via email as well... maybe it depends to the country where you e doing the medicals!

UPDATE:

I called CIC few minutes ago (first time ever, called after 50days) and they said that my file has already passed eligibility an hour ago (lol! ) and I should receive the formal confirmation within the day. So for 1st week of May applicants, I think they are working on our files now.

Per the cic prescribed timelines it is 13 months as of now

But, usually it could take anywhere from 4 months - 12 months..... Good luck !!

I got my SA approval email yesterday as well!

Application received May 4th
AOR1 none was sent
SA June 23rd
VO Mexico

Since my partner is from a visa exempt country (Chile), I had some hope that our file could be sent to Ottawa...but oh well, I guess receiving SA is already something!

People who applied in the beginning of May should receive some news soon!

it sould be included along with the transfered file....
Those cic agents no matter what language do you speak f they are so rude.... some are helpful and will tell you the status, others just a robots....

what if the file was already transferred without the medical (as we only finished the medical a few days ago). would cic sent this seperately to the VO, thats my question?
