We received our AOR1 but CIC requested an additional document from my husband. We would have received our SA probably a week ago but this morning CIC received the requested Doc. Hopefully this gets processed quickly and our file gets sent out to the VO soon. Also, I got some great news from the FBI today, my fingerprints passed and the results were mailed out to our Immigration Consultant on Tuesday July 19th. This is just a relief as this was my 2x time getting my fingerprints processed (first time, my prints were rejected).

We received our SA July 27th and our file was sent out to the Visa office in Mexico City as well!! Lucky for Us, the FBI PCC arrived at my Immigration Consultant's office on the same day!!! We are going to wait until we get our AOR2 first, then my consultant will forward the FBI PCC to my VO..... I'm so happy!!!

I submitted our application on May 24, 2016 and got the AOR1 on June 9, 2016.
It's almost 65 days now and I still don't have word about my SA. I called CIC 3 times since then but all they're telling me is to wait a bit longer and call them again if I don't get a letter by end of July. Anyone else on the same boat? I'm just very anxious right now...

Hi All

I got my SA yesterday and file has been transferred to NDVO. I already attached my wife's medical, all paperwork/proof, paid all fees.
Any idea how much time it will take from now?

I got a email confirmation today morning. Emails are generated by the system so it may 1-2 days for you to get email confirmation.

You just have to be patient I know it is hard I filled May 2 and I got my SA on July 18 what it looks like you are 22 days behind me so don't stress yourself out. I would start freaking out mid of August but hopefully you get it sooner Good Luck

I have the same timeline as you. Received May 24, started processing June 9.
We got the SA yesterday. However we also called and they told us by mid August. So don't freak out just yet. It'll be your time soon.

It was sent 10am. Check your spam messages. It might go there and you havent noticed.

I did and I am .....but nothing there.....She advised me that if i don't receive it I might call them after a week from JULY27th. She told me It was approved on JULY22nd and file is enroute to VO.

Lets see if i we get a AOR2 anytime soon.

Oh. I see. The mail was dated 28th of July, but the agent told me I was approved on the 20th. Anyways, thats okay. Atleast we're already approved.

Same boat here: Sent ours in about the same time, got the AOR 2 weeks after you, no word about SA. The AOR email was sent from Mississauga. Maybe they all are, though.
