I've noticed that too. Lots of August applicants lately have had their PPRs received. But what happened to us may applicants? I don't know if we can contact the VO because they don't answer back if it's within the processing time. :(

Im with you guys. Its very frustrating. Seems like they jumped to August and forgot about us lol

hi,
that's a gr8 piece of information.. everyone..please take a note of this. when and where was B4/BSF186 form provided, when and where is it to be submitted back ? is it similar to TOR(transfer of residence) kind of form where a person needs to declare his/her belongings carried along when entering a country for 1st time ?
please share.
good job again..
thanks
bimal

You have to download the form by searching for it on the Canadian Border Services page or just Google. It should be submitted right after landing in Canada after immigration. Immigration will send you to an area (at least YVR they did). It is just a form stating what you're bringing into Canada so that you're not taxed or need to pay duties on them. Some border officers will not even look at the list, and others may ask about a few items.

It's true, the VO just tell you to wait within the processing time. The best advice I can give you is to link your ECAS and check if the FINAL DECISION box says that it has be approved. IF it does say that, they MUST have sent it out. I called them last week and they kept telling me to wait the estimated processing time. I finally told them the status I saw online and argued that it MUST have been sent out and that she should check it it was. After checking with the supervisor, she found out that the PPR WAS sent out in August!! We did not receive it and we checked for it with our neighbors and everything. IT was lost in the mail.

I told her the situation and we've already landed in Canada thinking that the process would be done by now. The VO told us that she'd put a note on the file and the next day we received an email with instructions to send in a copy of the passport (visa-exempt) and two passport photos with Annex A attachment filled out.

I don't see why they don't just send the passport request (PPR) by email in the first place. It's ridiculous! Now I hope they don't lose the COPR in the mail too.

Have you ordered your GCMS notes, is there at least some progress on your file?

Notes are on the way

Hello fellow May applicants.

I filled for my wife's application on May 3rd, and the following is processing timeline:

App. Filed.......: May 3rd, 2016
AOR Received.: May 20th
Sponsor approval: July 12th
File Transfer...: July 12th (V/O acknowledged it July 18th)
Med's Done....: February 23rd
Minor document requested: November 3rd
Passport requested: November 25th
Passport sent: November 29th

Straightforward, I guess. We also never bothered with them with any questions nor did we order any notes.
