They received my Medicals today. I paid my RPRF last week and sent the receipt... do they acknowledge that this has been paid on my ECAS status?!

Only medicals on ECAS .. RPRF will be on your notes.

You can see my timeline on the left, i have crossed the 13 month mark and i e mailed CIC to find out about my applications, this is what they had to say. There is absolutely nothing helpful here:

Thank you for your email.

Our office confirms that your application is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that the processing times for permanent residence applications within the Canadian Experience class category are of an average of 15 months.

No action or document is needed from you at this present time and while we process applications as expeditiously as possible, each application is unique and we are unable to guarantee a specific time frame for its completion.

An officer will contact you if additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.


Is anybody in a similar situation?

I was told something similar. They gave no real update but instructed me to "check again" in September.
I wonder what year..

They told me the same thing as my app has passed 13 months mark- "Security check is in process. App is completed and they will contact me if need anything". There's no win in this topic. They can tell you processing time is 20 months and nothing we can do about it.

Have you requested GCMS? If yes,For what reason your file move to second review? and when is the second review date of your file?

1st VO said he's not convinced i worked as executive assistant. Due date for 2nd review is July 10 which is tmr but i dont have much hope ill get anything.

I received my PPR after 6 working days I have completed medicals and RPRF payment. I did both on the same date.

We have received our passports and COPR back after 7 working days.

However, time varies in each applicant.

Folks, Finally after a long long waiting, got the CPR today..Tough 14+ waiting months...Wishing you all the very best who are still waiting. Dont loose faith. We'll all crack it.

Here are my timelines...

Application Sent: Apr 30, 2014
Application Received: May 2, 2014
AOR: June 12, 2014
Medical Request: June 6, 2015
Medical Completed: June 12, 2015
RPRF: June 11, 2015
Approved and VISA Ready email: June 16, 2015
Passport Sent for stamping: June 26, 2015
CPR Received: July 10,2015

P.S: Nothing upfront. Did everything after getting email from CPC.

Sent the passport to CPC Ottawa.

I filed my application on May-14-2014, couple days before you (looking at your timeline).

I am in Canada from last 5 years. I had applied for PR application (CEC) with dependent on 23rd May 2014. In the GCMS it says the application was locked on 23rd May.
In the application I had attached my wife's PCC and other necessary documents. Only document that I did not attach was my PCC.
In Feb 2015 I received my MR, which I submitted in a few days.
The problem is that My wife (who is also in Canada on spousal open work permit) has not received any request for medical. Some context, she had undergone medical test before arriving Canada on April 2014.

My problem is that after the MR request there is no communication from CIC. I dont know what is going on. My problem is that my open work permit is expiring on September 11, 2015.

What should i do next? I had requested for GCMS which I got in June 5. Which shows "criminality: In progress".
Should I wait for sometime, or apply for extending my work permit.

Hi Abhishek
I would suggest to wait for some more time before applying for Work Permit extension since Sep 11 is still 2 months away. Even if you apply a week before your current WP expires, you can still continue to work in Canada under the same circumstances in "implied" status until your new WP arrives (although I'm not suggesting you wait that long if you're not comfortable)

The reason they didn't ask for your wife's medicals again may be because her earlier result is still considered valid (this has happened with other people also whom I know)

You said that you had not submitted your PCC with the original application... did you submit it later?
If you still haven't submitted it, they may still ask for it, and that's what may be delaying your app.

You can also check whether your GCMS notes mention any due date for the VO (in case your application is in 2nd review).
My application had gone to 2nd review, but I noticed that processing of my application started moving as soon as the due date for 2nd review (June 16th 2015) was reached. Until that date I had not heard anything from CIC and was anxious what was happening. But after June 16th I got Medical request, RPRF & PPR in quick succession - I sent my passport for stamping on the 8th July. So basically... there is hope... do what you can (PCC etc) & hang in there...
