May 2014 CEC-PR Applications

I received PPR few hours ago!! My timeline is as the following:

Application received: May 12th, 2014
AOR received: June 25th, 2014
First review: Dec 18th, 2014
Upfront Medical: Oct 10th,2014
Upfront RPRF paid: May 25th, 2015

My file undergone second review because the officer thought that my duties did not match with my NOC code. I submitted a more detailed employment letter, together with related certification and highlighted the employment requirements on the HRSDC website to prove my qualification.

My ECAS is not updated yet and there are only 2 lines so far-' application received' and 'medical received'. However, I did upfront medical and RPRF to save time as my work permit is expiring at the end of July.

Finally the journey is almost coming to an end and I wish to express my gratitude to everyone here. Most of the replies have been very helpful and informative.

It is good to know some progress is made behind the scenes, even when ECAS is not updated.
My timeline is similar (I am 8 days behind..) , so you gave me some hope.

I only sent in my passport and the PPR letter as instructed on PPR.

A quick question.
My kid is born here in Toronto and If I will go to Niagra for Flagpole landing , can I take him with me also?

Finally got my MR yesterday, I hope thats what it is.

I got an attachment form IMM1017 and have been asked to submit medicals within 30 days.

If anyone thinks thats not what it is, please let me know.

Hello everyone,

My apologies, if i am speaking out of turn in this forum as I am an October 2014 applicant under the CEC class.

I recently did my medicals upfront after adding my wife to my PR application(CPC-Ottawa asked me to send the required documents) and sent the results over to CPC-Ottawa

My wife is here with me now in Canada, I was wondering if I should pay the RPRF fee for both of us or just me (as the principal applicant).

Probably, this is NO BRAINER - it should be both $490 X 2 = $980. Just making sure I have got it correct

I called CIC this morning. They are still doing background checks aaaaah the waiting!!!!!

My wife and kids Temp visas expire in August, this is really cutting it fine and I rather not pay $500'ish for a visa to be useful for only a few months.

I did both upfront medicals and RPRF and still did not received any updates.

I got the PPR email on June 17th. It took exactlly, one year from the date I got AOR.

Today, I sent them my passport. I hope every one soon receive their PPR as well.
