May 2014 CEC-PR Applications

Hello Everyone,
I am a May applicant and joined this forum recently. I received my GCMS notes recently it says my case has been sent for review with following comments: "Letter of employment appears to be issued outside Canada"

1) Has anyone else seen such a comment in the past.
2) Should I take any action as of now or wait for CIC to contact me.

Hello Buddy,

I can understand your situation as when one comes on a WP through a company which is head quartered in a different country, their HR issues a letter from that country. Even I did research when I was applying my case and learnt that it is advisable to send the letter with Canada address. This way its easy for the VO to verify the claims. I would suggest that you should get an updated letter and provide a small explanation note as to why you get letter with outside canada as the address earlier...I am sure they will understand.....

They started processing my application on Feb. 24th and still no PFPR or PPR

i heard this from many... nothing to worry.. they just wanna make sure you dont hv any criminal record at the time... not in all cases. they ask for pcc again.. its just VO"s precautions kind of thing...

Ive sent them the requested updated schedule A form on Monday via email,and today by post,also paid the RPRF on Monday.
I'm guessing I will have COPR before ECAS updates the status lol(UK citizen).
