I am just checking the April Month Applicant status and found they are recieving a Medical Request.
Seems like we will get notification in Dec- Jan Month.

How much time they will give for Medical ?

Hey nobody from April month got medical request. People from Jan, Feb and few from March months getting their MR.

I am silent reader of this forum.
Finally thought to post my timelines.

App Revived : 05 MAY 2014
AOR Date: 12 JUNE 2014

Based on on-going timelines i think May batch will start receiving medicals by Mid November. It looks like the passport requests are taking too-too long, as it usually used to be with in 3-4 weeks of receiving medicals looks like CIC is really busy or soething fishy coming up.

Guys,

I had my child born on Sep 18th 2014 in Toronto, i need to inform cic about my newborn child. Have some questions, could someone clarify please.

- what are the documents i need to send it to CIC? Birth certificate (long form) alone enough or baby passport also required? Photo required?
- Can i directly send the docs to CIC or should i just inform about the birth and on request i need to send the docs?

Your child doesn't require anything as he/she is already citizen by birth (unless you relinquish). Just need to provide information once they ask you for MR or something else that's all. In their further communication to you, they will ask you any change in status and that time you can respond to them with details.
Yes you need to send long form of birth certificate. Baby passport is not required(but keep it handy).

My friend application received on 5th April and he got his MR on 21st Sept.

As per TrackIt as well, application filled on 23rd april got MR on 17th Oct.
However, I can't see much progress on April applicant in the forum.

Fingers crossed, May applicant be ready we might start early than we observed

Hi Guys,
I am Indian national traveling form Canada to India. I have a connecting flight to catch at London heathrow and my bags would be thoroughly checked in. The Layover time for next flight is 4hrs and change of terminals is required. I am currently Holder of Indian passport and i am temporary resident and have a valid Work Visa to re-enter Canada as per my status and i also hold a valid Visitor Visa to The United States.

I would like to know if i qualify to exempt transit visa to travel and catch my connecting flight in London.

Hence Uk boder rules states,

1.You won’t need a visa if you are traveling to Canada, New Zealand or the USA and have a valid visa for that country

it doesn't describes and onward situation form Canada,The USA or Newzealand.

2.You won’t need a visa if you are traveling from Canada, New Zealand or the USA and it’s less than 6 months since you last entered that country with a valid entry visa

I am having hard time understanding this clause as i am assuming that the person has a visitor visa and if he overstays in that country he wouldn't be allowed to transit through Heathrow.
