they will send the permanent residence application in V.O. Manila. They will contact your husband if they need more documents, passport, or if need of interview but I know it will take time because the time frame for processing in manila is 14 months.

My fiancee got an email this morning! OUR SPONSORSHIP IS APPROVED!!! Today 15 June 2013

That looks like a scanned letter we received! lucky that they didnt try to mail the letter to us. I never trust China Post

but :o

I have written Hong Kong to be my visa office, however while I received my SA they moved me to Beijing office based on my address now. I have been working in Shanghai for 4 years but my mailing address still Hong Kong as the China post is not reliable and my family is still living in Hong Kong. The thing is, I'm going to go to Canada next month and wait for my PR with my fiancee so my address is going to change again, I will never return to Shanghai (as that is not my home) so its doesnt making sense that my visa office is in Beijing. Does it sound any matter to u guys? ??? thanks.

kk

I don't think it really matters. Biejing and HK have similar timeline ( Beijing 9, HK 10) so it won't really make a difference in the processing time.
Since you won't be in Shangai anymore, if you were asked for an interview, you would have to fly anyway - so go to Canada, and wait... if you get asked for an interview, you will go to Beijing instead of HK. Once you're in Canada, you can update your mailing address to the Canadian one. You will have to send your passport to the office, and they will send it back.

If it was the wrong VO ( let's say they sent your file to London, or Cairo) then you should contact them. If they have determined that you have more links to the region pertaining to Beijing office, then it's their right to send your file there.

Good luck,
Sweden

I got i letter today with the sponsorship approval date 10 June.Good luck to the rest of you.

Fingers crossed as I lost some time already due to a missing signature :(.

Really worried.

Did you guys get an email or letter or both? If they send a letter, do they send by canada post regular?

Thanks,

they send either a letter, or an email, for the sponsor approval, but not both.

Hello,

I have received AOR from Visa office today. Hopefully I'll receive Passport request soon.

Question: Anyone from toronto here who is planning to visit India sooner? I have to send passport to ND Visa office and have fewer contacts here in Canada.

Good morning. I see that my line has changed colour to brown! Still nothing positive to report. Through some misunderstanding I failed to enclose with my application an IMM 5406, received a request from Mississauga for it via my sponsor, who lives with me, and sent it off after my last post. Since then zilch from Mississauga, who are presumably on strike. Anyway, I am still here in the UK and every day check the fast progress of almost everyone else with interest and envy! Regards to you all. A pity we are all so far apart around the globe. We should try to have a party when all this is over!

HI, i am also new here. my application received 28 may, 2013. But I did not get any feedback/AOR from CIC.

And can anybody say, what is SA? I do not have any sponsor. So what will be next?

SA means sponsor approval.

i am also a may applicant and i am the sponsor.
i sent our application may 23 and was received by CPC-M on may 24th.
i haven't had received an AOR as i have not included in my application my email address.
However, i checked my status online and it says decision made under sponsorship and that i have to wait for a letter from them which they had sent me June 13.
So i am hoping this meant a good news.
I'm still waiting for the said letter.
